Job Title: Senior Children’s Resdiential Support Worker

Location: Wolverhampton, UK

Salary Range: ยฃ28,000 – ยฃ33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Children Residential Support Worker to join our team and lead one of our residential homes. As the Senior, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring that the highest standards of care and support are provided to all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership to the staff team, promoting a positive and inclusive culture within the home.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans for each resident, tailored to their specific needs and aspirations.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, their families, external agencies, and the local community.

Requirements:

  • Senior qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and relevant experience in a similar role within children’s residential care.
  • Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding procedures, and the needs of children and young people in care.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
  • NO SPONSORSHIPS & MUST HOLD A DRIVER’S LICENCE!
