Who they are looking for?
They are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join their group to provide therapy within the east region.
The post holder will form part of the Wellbeing Hub across the east region. They will be mainly situated at a School in Banham, Norfolk, however will provide a service to other surrounding schools, residential homes and, if required, fostering agencies within the region.
Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care, education and clinical services would be perfect for this role.
Experience of working with children with ASD and other complex needs is essential. They are also looking for someone with post-graduate knowledge and training in Sensory Integration therapy.

About the Role
The post-holder will be responsible for providing individual, specialist assessments and carrying out informed interventions to meet the occupational, physical and sensory needs of children, young people and adults at a universal, targeted and specialist level. This will include the provision of direct one-to-one sessions or group activities as part of the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
As directed by the Regional Wellbeing Service Manager and/or Occupational Therapy Lead, the role will also involve the provision of advice, information and training to staff, other members of the clinical/wellbeing and multi-disciplinary teams, commissioners and other agencies regarding issues relevant to autism, learning difficulties, developmental trauma and associated conditions including children, young people and adults who present with behaviours which challenge.
Multidisciplinary working is essential to our client’s aim to provide a high-quality service that promotes the wellbeing and interests of the children, young people and adults they support. Collaborative working and integration of OT and therapy support within the day to day running of the provision is a key part of this role.
