Role: Registered Children’s Home Manager
Service: 3 bed therapeutic service
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per annum
Shifts: 38 Hours Per a Week – this post will require flexible working hours to meet the needs of the organisation and this specific service. Shift hours include a minimum 4 Weekday Hours, 2 Weekend Hours and 0.5 Sleep overs.
Care 2 Recruit are working on behalf of a very well-established provider of residential care to children and young people offering therapeutic placements. They were set-up as a registered charity in April 2016 with the aim of supporting the most vulnerable young people in care. Their mission is to employee educated, passionate and qualified staff to support young people with extreme trauma to transition into a less intense model of care. Their values focus on being supportive, responsive, passionate, professional, and united.
This is particular service is a small 3 bedded home based in Macclesfield. The home is fairly new, so it has not yet had an Ofsted inspection, however they have received positive feedback from the independent Reg 44 visitor.
The shift pattern would consist of you needing to complete a minimum of one shift per a fortnight within the home, there will also be some requirement for the role to have time working from the home and at times working remotely as well.
You will receive 28 days annual leave + one wee sick pay
To be successful in this role you will:
Be passionate about providing high quality care to children and young people
Have 2 Years’ experience in managing staff members within a Children’s Home.
Experience off working with regulators such as OFSTED and RQIA.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and local frameworks with regards to Children services.
Ideally hold the Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or be willing to undertake this
