Overview:

I am looking for an experienced Residential Children’s Home Manager with proven experience in an EBD home to support with the opening of a new 6 bedroom Ofsted registered Children’s Home based in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

The registered Manager will be responsible for delivering high quality care to the children/young people resident within the home where each child will thrive and reach their full potential; obtaining the best possible outcomes for each child/young person.

Essential requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or willing to work towards (it is expected that a potential RM will already hold the Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification);
  • Residential Childcare experience within a children’s home – minimum 2 years (consideration will be given to those in a Deputy Manager position within a Children’s Home, already undertaking a Level 5 qualification);
  • Supervision of Staff – minimum 1 year;
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations (2015), Care Standards Act 2000 & the Children Act 1989 & 2004
