A strong and developing fostering team requires a Team Manager for their established service covering part of the West Midlands region. Based out of a Birmingham office, you will be responsible for the Friends and Family / Connected Person’s aspect of the fostering service. This organisation operates as an IFA and holds a not for profit status.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Management and support of an existing staff team

* Overall service growth and development

* Developing and managing the key aspects of the family and friends fostering and support functions

* To ensure the continuation and provision of high quality fostering services, including excellent support and supervision to the connected carers and the young people in their care

* Continual supervision of the staff team

REQUIREMENTS:

* A qualified social worker

* HCPC registered

* Strong fostering experience, ideally gained within the independent sector

* Proven Knowledge of Ofsted, National Minimum Standards for Fostering services and Fostering Services Regulations

* Excellent staff management experience

* A car owner / driver Salary package is up to c£50,000 + excellent benefits and good working conditions.
